Reference pictures and geometry captures for Dishwasher.

The dishwasher was modeled based on the photographs below.

The most challenging piece on the dishwasher was to create the control panel face on the front. Figure 1 shows the final subdivided result.

On the dishwashers control panel face, the plastic is split into sections at either side of the opening door that extrude in slightly. I created this detail by adding some resolution at either side, then extruding the middle edge in.

I wanted the inside of the dishwasher door to have a slight contour. It is only the upper leaver that has sharper edges (see figure 1).

The controls were quick to create. The image below shows what they looked like before being subdividing.
